If you need front wheel drive for snow, that eliminates BMW and a few luxury Japanize lines.
A 9-5 Aero should be your comparo point to other vehicles with your stated objectives.
More power and accelleration? Get a stage II performance mod for that and you will have close to Aero power. Aero torque it would seem.
A SMBC will allow you to get on boost faster. it will let the turbo work at its native abilities and then it is responsive to improvements in the intake, so a JR filter works very well with it. SMBC also gets more torque in the 1st two gears. The objective is not to jack up the boost i nthe other gears as the ECU will fight this and it will restrict the throttle and the result is a hotter intake temperature, temporary limp mode or a CEL if you persist.
