GM does not support their own brand. go to our local SAAB dealer in Beaverton, OR. They brought in one 9-2x and haven't sold it or any other. How could they, it's just a subaru with saab design. The 9-7 is the sam mistake they are trying to get a premium for an american vehicle by putting the Saab tag on it.
Give us a new design in the 9-5, continue with imprroving the 9-3 and perhaps build a very fast coupe and a larger luxury sedan. the SUV is a dinosuar. JJJJJEEEEEZZZZ even Saturn is coming out with more inovation than SAAB. But don't blame our good friends and excellent engineers in Trollhatten, it's the big exec's at GM not hiiting the mark and not getting a fat bonus check that is screwing SAAB and not supporting the Dealers.
Saab makes great cars, though they really need to fix the life expectancy of the turbo and the DIC.
I say give SAAB back to the Swedes and watch it grow. Pour money into innovative designs based on SAAB quality and expertise and keep the Japenese and American influences out of it.
