My Father inlaw calls me and said I have this car. Its a nice car do you want it? It just needs a little work. I thought just what I don't need another project, so I went and looked at it. the intrior was very rough a drunk had lived in it for a while,the Light blue paint faded and cover with bird crap, anyway Yuck. What would I want this for? the engine is backwards & parts have to be a nighmare to get and expencive. My Brother said Get it, look nice heated seats + 4 new studded snow tires
free! So we pulled it home I was imprested with the way it handled and drove. It sat in the driveway a while.
Months later I was taking to my brother in law he actuly owned the Saab. Out of his VW bug he was driving (He had just driven from California) he got me the title and 2 repair tickets. The first Ticket said (Saftey check & see if worth fixing)and at the bottom after towing & Repairs the bill was $1100.00+
The second Ticket was 2 weeks later and after another tow & Repair $300. More. He said it just cost to much to keep running the bug he could handle.
I thought this car may be worth fixing after all. So after alot of other work & help from Everyone here its now my daily driver. I'm hooked and hope to get a Turbo Soon.
Old reliable 79 Datsun 210 sold yesterday!
