At those rates, I could make a very comfotable living
WAY too much to diagnose! You could have done it yourself, by telling this board the symptoms. Way too much labor.
You should take it to a Saab indy, that knows the common Saab problems. The pulley is a very common problem.
Seal replacement should be automatic when replacing the pulley, ESPECIALLY if the whole pulley was wobbling.
Shim? What shim? They screwed up, plain & simple, take them to court
