If so, it's a 2.0, not a 2.1, and that explains the "E" which isn't really documented in the chassis numbers table. And you have an LH 2.4 fuel injection system, not a 2.4.2.
Follow this link to the Townsend Imports page on engine variants and scroll down to "91 900S Convertible", a little more than 1/2 way down the page.
No doubt that there was some good reason that Valmet continued using the previous year's engine and fuel injection system for the convertibles in the '91 model year.
