you need the longer lower control arm bolts from the donor - the bar is 'piggybacked' onto the car using these bolts.
replace the rubber bushes back there while you're at it: both on the sway bar and upper links, and panhard bar. don't fuss with lower control arm bushes (pain).
adding a front bar to a 900 with rear bar only will make the car corner flatter but you return the car to a more understeer-prone balance, give up a small amount of ride comfort, and forward traction while cornering (wheelspin). it's been said that snow grip can be affected because independent action is lessened but i wouldn't know. for a mostly highway driven car, these trade-offs are worth the flatter cornering in my opinion - it's satisfying on on/offramps. use polyurethane bushings, both outer and inner.
a good custom alignment and high performance tires will do lots more to improve handling than swaybars, and varying rear tire pressure can adequately mimic the affects of a rear bar.
