u can search lots more on this bb: but iirc, older c900s orig came with a "bigger" oil filter (equivalent to fram ph-16 [but do another BB search for "best oil filter" - mann, wix, Purolator Pure One, napa gold, etc.). The big one is a tightish fit, but doable. Idea is more oil, more filtration media, etc. It's what I use. I've used spanning/filter wrenches, but usually us a "bottle-cap" type, and a ratchet. I _partially_ loosen the filter first, not to where it's leaking, while engine is still hot/warm (take care not to burn yourself). Drain oil for a few hours. Then get back to filter with baggie as suggested. Is tight under car w/o ramps, but u can actually get more oil out on flat ground, or with front of car lower than rear. May need to replace drain bolt and/or gasket. Torque setting - dblck this - is something like 25 - 29 ft/lbs. Don't overtighten
I don't know the PN equivalent for the smaller filter (likely in this BB), which I believe is what they'll tell you at the auto parts counter or upon a reference book look-up. Quite a bit easier to get in and out
