lots of ways to change oil

tell you what ...

drive your car to get some coffee or donuts, (the drive will warm up the oil filter)
when you get home lay down in front of your car and with your head nearest to your car look up under it.

the bolt that is just sticking out like a sore thumb nearest to drivers side, is the bolt to unscrew, after you finish your donut but not coffee
find a wrench to fit it and unscrew it.
now youll see that the oil from your car is just flooding your drive-way
---- well mabey i should back up and say , find something to containe the oil after you unscerw the bolt, (while on your trip to get coffee stop by your local auto zone they carry a small oil ummm ... jug and wrenches to take the oil filter off

if you ask the auto-zone dude where the scocket oil filter wrench is they will find you one, and while your there grabe yourself a mobil one filter (m1-102) and 4 qt.s of oil
back to draining oil,
put the new jug under car right after you get the screw loose enuff to unscrew with your fingers. (the jug comes with a screen net to cach the bolt) after loosening place jug under car and loosen the rest of the way with your fingers, it might be hot but you got ice coffee so its all good, after the bolt comes all the way lose let it just drop and get your fingers away from the hot oil, u might get a little on you but....OOOOOh it smells so good,... wooo where did i get off to.) have a rag near by
with the new socket wrench unscrew your old filter, now you will see oil is just leaken out all over your motor parts. i find if you place a rag under the filter before it is unscrewed it dose a good job of keeping things clean.
after oil filter is loose remove the wrench and use the rag under the filter to unscre it the rest of the way, pull the filter out of the motor and set it down, next put it bolt back in the drain hole.
let the old oil filter drain in the jug,
now i pre oil my filter befor i put it on the car, it may not need to be done, however it dont take but 20 sec,
to pre-oil fillter
take some fresh oil and put a litte in the new filter, (fill it)
pre- wet the rubber gasket with a thin layer of new oil, then screw it back on the the motor, tighten it with the wrench to just about (way tight)
put the rest of the 4 qt. of oil in the motor, put the jug cover back on and take it back to auto-zone (they have a oil dump) ( FREE ).. get rid of the oil and look at where your oil is at on the dip stick. add more if need be.
