However you call it if the battery is toast you cannot just jump it and go. You need more rpms to get the current to run it.
The fix drive into a battery shop they will check the charging system and battery free of charge. I will bet it is the battery or the battery terminals are corroded. The battery place I go to will not try to sell you something you don't need. I.E. if the battery is just discharged and is OK otherwise they will just tell you to put it on a CHARGER overnight to recharge the battery. It's the only way to recharge a discharged (not totally dead) battery, the alternator is not a charger and will not recharge a totally depleted battery
