I have a 80 Dodge show truck. It sits way too long between starts, so I usually use a pump type oiling can and pump several pumps of the regular engine oil I use (Castrol 20W50) I leave the plugs out use a large socket on the cranl shaft nut and turn it over by hand 3 times. Then put back in plugs and use starter. Usually change the oil first before starting. Anyway you can do the saab by putting a paint mark on the starter engage teeth on the flywheel or pressure plate and turn it over by hand with a large screw driver. This will help prevent breaking any stuchk piston rings and will pre oil the cyl walls. I am sure there are other ways to do this but it works for me. I wouuld also use about 1/2 quart less and add a thinner lubricant like Winns mystery oil to help free up sticking valve lifters. I have done this many times with sitting engines and Oh the gas can be a real issue as far as water and othe contaminants. If and when you do hook up your cap to distributor, I'd have done a no spark turn over first the hook up you ignition source(s)
