Hi,
I just bought a leakdown tester to try and figure out what's making all the smoke coming from the tailpipe. (only $29.99 at that place that sells Chinese tools by the boatload)
How do you position each cylinder at TDC? and 1 & 3 and 2 & 4 should travel in unison --yes?
I think I remember hearing someone suggest putting the eraser end of a pencil in the spark plug hole. sounds kinda sketchy.
When the flywheel is at TDC is some piston always at the topmost part of its travel, or can the flywheel be at TDC while none of the pistons are at the top? Thanks for any help.
Cheers,
Jeremy
