I should read more carefully. In your case I'd check the wiring loom and connectors. You should probably refer to electrical manuals or faq pages on how to check electrical connections (under load, wiring resistance, grounds and such). If wiring is ok then check if you can turn the pump with some temp wires/buses (try different locations to insert your temp wires into). The electrical test will show you if you need a new pressure accumulator (98% goes for the acc and 2% goes for the sensor) only or you also need a new pump.

P.S.
Just in case: - MARKII was also used in some other cars like late 80's - early 90's VW, AUDI and such. Google for ATE ABS Mark II (or Mark 2). Probably pumps are interchangeable or even complete units but I'm not sure on complete units.
