Thanks Jon -- I see now why you were able to adjust it. Both cable covers are toast on this car, so the drill motor will be the way to go. Also, the PO apparently was so mad the seat wouldn't operate, the knob and stem had been ripped off, so I have a switch to install as well.....it's always something.
