" use to think Saab were one of the ugliest cars I ever seen" Then Saab came out with the 9000 turbo. I thought to myself,"Sure, Turbo charged". Thought I was just a cheap sales gimmick. Now I own an 91/900s four door automatic, 92/900 turbo two door automatic, 87/9000 turbo 5 speed (Interstate Land Jet) and an "ACK" stupid 96/GM-900s 5 speed. So here's the history of car ownership. Dodge Dart > Vw 71 beetle > 65 Vw Kombi split window > then my first Scandinavian car > 82 Volvo 240 sedan deluxe > 84 Volvo 240 wagon >. Now all the 4 Saabs plus a 98/740 turbo wagon (The Tank) and my wifes 97/850 turbo automatic with deluxe sport package (Another Land Jet) Please forgive me of my past uneducated knowledge of the Scandinavian quality of cars. I just won't own/drive anything else! I'm still keeping the Vw 56/oval with the screaming 36hp with Judson Super charger. Also, just got a friend to purchase a very nice 93/900s automatic two door with perfect tan interior and only 90k on the engine, all for a discounted price of $1.500. She's so happy! And when she's ready to purchase something newer in a year, I'll buy the car for her. Damn this contagious Saab Fever!
