wether YOU like one or not is up to personal tastes.
My wife bought a NEW 900 in 84 It subsequently stranded her 3!! seperate times on road trips with little children in the car. She finally refused to drive it anywhere she could not walk home from. Geee I wonder Why?
We still have the car Still looks like a 2 year old car.. but it's Broken.. yet again.. even though it has yet to hit 100k. Fuel mileage is 'effing Awful. god's truth on that anyone who claims otherwise is delusional IMO.
She bought an Acura in 88 it ran for 12 yearts untill Elder son T bonedit into a F150, bent the frame so bad it was written off. Acura limped home.. barely.. with the Police in pursuit :-) That car, besides needing wearables (tires pads, muffler) actually required only ONE headlight bulb as the total repairs required for 12 years ownership.
She recently bought another one.. It's a lovely car. Smooth quiet easy on gas and with even more mod cons than my Saab. I have a 97 9000 with Aero upgrades and while I like the Turbo effect, it again is NOT as quick
as the Acura and fuel mileage is just a Joke. Besides My saab rattles like a shopping cart (it has a whole 80k miles) whereas the Acura is DEAD quiet and corners absolutely flat.
Remember Boys and Girls. Saab's, Even C900's were/are V Expensive cars. NEW. Costing up to 3!! times what a Civic Costs. Then and Now ..look it up!
So your old beaten to heck car still retain 'some' of the build quality despite the $1500 you paid for it. Check out the Purchase price of a NEW saab
Your whiing that the cheapest car Honda makes (and it would be, as a Rental car) isn't as 'nice' as your old Crock??
Hard to swallow Mate.. Being a Saab and Honda owner for at least 2 decades.
