There are many reasons why a person chooses a particular car. My sister decided to buy a brand new honda civic in 1994. While it was nice, and reliable, there was not thrill for me when I drove it. I don't like generic cars; and I would not care how fast or reliable they are...
I like the idea of something differnt..out of the odinary. It makes me feel special in a way. and if you add to the fact that I like to tinker on motorcars, then the old classics are just my ticket. I don't even care for the 9000Aero, even though it is faster than the C900. The profile does nothing for me, and I find it too wide. The C900 is like a glove.
I drove a brand new Chysler 300C with the powerful hemi engine. It was fast, yet how do you explain that after I got out of that thing, and drove the 900, that it felt more exhilerating?
There is something called the art of driving...and older cars(without the newer technologies) offer the oportunity. Some people actually like to feel the road, and even hear a revving engine.
I can't even understand why you drive a Saab, with that type of approach?? It seams you must be a torn in a way, for you still have the Aero, yet praise the Acura...
I know why I drive a C900, it is because I am allergic to plain, common, generic, boring cars.
