"Mystery Zone"! Cut & paste if link doesn't work: http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/900/index.html?bID=401886
This seems to happen on my '90 SPG a couple times each summer. Primarily in very hot weather, when I'm stopped. Like when we go to Dairy Queen for a Blizzard, and sit in the car with the A/C running. You may wish to SEARCH and do some reading here, but it won’t help, I don’t think. Many frustrated people. I have a ’90 Turbo Convertible which doesn’t do it, and a ’91 SPG which hasn’t YET done it.
Nashvegas summed it up pretty well (cut & paste): http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/900/index.html?bID=350711
I, too, have swapped just about every part (but with used parts). I've come to just accept it, and don't thing anyone has ever found out what goes wrong. When both lights are on, the ABS motor is running full-time, and nothing will it off, except a rest. Darn! I wonder if Nashvegas did solve the problem by changing the entire ABS unit, or the motor? He seems to have disappeared?
