Are your disconnecting the battery when the car is not driven? Any battery will go dead if not driven & recharged by the alternater. You can either disconnect the battery with a wrench or install a special connection designed for this purpose.
My car sits for long periods of time so I installed the cut off as I was getting tired of removing the ground strap off the battery.
I have some insulation issues, but everything electrical works, so I'm leaving well enough alone for now.
