the first responders to this post agreed on the possibility of the master's piston moving too far and damaging part of the booster via its pushrod . since the dome nut on the end of the pushrod needs to be set by the factory that must mean that subsequent booster installations must also have their dome nut adjusted as tz advised . if not set properly this could have the same effect as the master's piston moving too far . the question now is how to set a clearance , that tz gave the spec on , when you have to pull the master away from the pushrod to get access . hopefully tz has the answer . maybe there is a special feeler gauge that only the factory has which can be put in place while the master is installed . this setting might also be required when a new master is installed .
