don't feel like I'm just disregarding what people say in their efforts to help me . I put the information to use that landjet provided . maybe my interpretation doesn't make sense . now that you gave more info things look different . the quote about the factory setting the pushrod and it not being tampered with made me believe that meant not tampered with unless you are replacing components . if the pushrod and the master piston come with a factory setting that is always the same , so that I can compare one booster to another and do the same with the master , then the only reason the factory would adjust the pushrod is if some other factor effected the clearance such as mounting surface differences . in this case having the 2 components measured individually would not always be enough to get the clearance right . maybe in most situations it would though if thats what you mean . my intention is not to be contradictory , I'm combining the info I'm receiving so I hope this doesn't sound disregarding of efforts from you and others .
