...and of course need to remove the tri-wing nuts that turbocon86 has illustrated, my approach would be to drive them loose with a screwdriver and hammer, then they will spin out with just a screwdriver blade stuck down in vertical, in one of the 3 slots.
You should be able to get the remains of your lock out of your housing leaving it right in the car, and put the new cylinder in it in place. But if you do pull yours, on reinstalling, know that those 3-wing nuts are just standard SAE 1/4"-20 thread, good old US standard, and can be replaced with hex nuts you can get for 10 cents each at your hardware store.
No one's going to steal your car so no need for the security nuts. You need to use a 1/4" drive socket to fit down into the little wells where they go; either 7/16" OR 11mm will work just fine on the nuts. They NEED to be tightened pretty snug, so the shifter doesn't loosen up and start sliding around.
(That's a beautiful tool Turbocon86 has made and if I had one I would use it instead of the workaround above.)
