It is true that DIY is not for everyone, but don't sell yourself short. I was never one to get my hands dirty - work in an office all day and took my Saab to the dealer or indy for everything - even oil changes. Then I woke up one day and realized that with every member of the family now driving at least one Saab, I was handing out so much money to my indie that he might have qualified as a dependent on my tax return. So at the age of 55, I bought the bentley, and began my 2nd career as a Saab mechanic. And you know what? these cars are not that hard to work on, and there is nothing on them that I would not try.
