Thanks for the input. I've owned the car since 2001 and it was garaged and used in New York State most of the time since then in all seasons. The body is pretty solid and rust issues seem to be minimal. I'm not in denial about rust on cars and know the pit falls about the tip of the ice berg and such.
At this point the car is garaged and only used for pleasure. Keeping that in mind I'm considering giving it a face lift for another 5-7+/- years of motoring in a nice looking car. After that I figure it would be time to move on. Now I'm looking for shops to seriously consider estimates from.
