You can install a DI/APC (the one pictured) trigger wheel on to an EZK pulley to get the correct signal for Trionic 5.2. However the harness wiring is slightly different than Trionic 5.5 as well as more software modifications are necessary. It has the advantage of being all from the SAAB parts bin with no welding/cutting required, but you have to rely on the stock EZK sensor which is pricey and getting harder to source. Also, kind of a pain in the butt to replace.
I've done conversions with the Squaab kit as well, and although it is less of a squeeze, I'd still prefer the flywheel modification. Although a trigger mount would still need to be made.
