Looking to purchase a 93 Saab 900 special edition for $650. Here is the problem, the owner told me the clutch stopped working. I went to see the car, and had trouble finding and getting the car into gear. I found 1st, but had to feed the car quite a bit of gas for it to just barely move (didn't feel like it was engaged as a normal working car would have). I put it in reverse, the reverse light turned on, but the car wouldn't move. It wouldn't stall, but rather seemed as though it didn't engaged and stayed in neutral.
For the most part it seemed like it was hard to find all most of the gears. There was no grinding whatsoever. What could this be? It is a nice car, but I don't want to deal with a major issue.
