Can't take much credit for how any of this turns out as work being largely done by my indie but I have sourced nearly all the parts and played hand in design of some parts of project and bits and pieces here and there but acquired 1991 Beryl Green SPG for purposes of restore which is finally under way after long delay. Here is some of stuff.
1. Engine removed for full re-build including new JE pistons
2. New Bell inter-cooler based on a design from George's Imports ( thanks Radio Flyer ! )
3. Trionic 5 injectors ( as per Jak Stoll )
4. Jak Stoll chip ( and advice, thanks Jak! )
5. 3" downpipe and new exhaust with magna flow cat and muffler
6. Upgrade to turbo ( fly wheel etc )
7. Re-setting stock APC
8. New ( crack free re-conditioned ) dashboard
9. Brand new leather for entire interior
10. Bespoke wood fascia for dashboard ( made in England by a Saab nut! )
11 Bespoke wood glove lid, center gauge console, window switchpacks and door inserts from same source.
12 New Clarion navigation and media system ( 1 din )
13. Installation of complete remote/alarm system.
14. Brand new H4 ecodes
15 Brand new rear light fixtures for both sides if required ( spares if not )
16. Engine compartment clean up and engine clean
17. Complete body re-spray with OEM spec paint
18. New gear stick, bellows and leather knob
19. Sun/wind deflector
20. New Whale Tail ( beryl green) with black edging
As always, I am amazed at how giving people are of their time, with me asking what were probably many juvenile or naive questions. I only hope I can get this finished in next month or so , so can have it ready for Spring
