I have the spacer for the clutch plate from eeuroparts.com. There are other things that can be used, but the tool was pretty cheap and is the right size.
It's been a while since I did this job but as I recall I did just use the right size bolt to pull the shaft out. You first remove a plastic propeller-looking thing that I think is an oil slinger for the chain drive. (Be sure to put it back when done!) I did not replace my rear main seal as it was not leaking so I don't know about making a tool for that. You can have a helper use a big screwdriver jammed into the flywheel teeth to hold it in place. Just make sure that any rotation while working on it is the same as when the engine runs and there should be no timing chain issues.
Oh, and make sure you don't put the clutch disc in backwards!! I found that out the hard way!
