First, I got the darn plastic cover off by bending the hell out of it. Now, according to the fix my Saab tutorial I break loose the bolts on the slave (three hex bolts) and flywheel. It seems a 5mm hex is too loose -- anybody know the correct size?
Second, the slave is kaput (reason I'm doing this)so how do I get the spacer in the fingers since I have no hydrolic power to press the fingers in? Do I have to cut the fingers out or is there a way to physically press the fingers in to get the spacer in? And on a side note, I can physically press both of the ends of the slave in (compressing it)...does this mean I can compress it enough to just pull it out in its installed position?
I'm sure I'll have some more novice questions since I've never even seen this done before. TIA.
