I've got the Haynes and still can't figure out why the fan won't come on when it's supposed to. I tested the thermo switch on the stove and it opens when it is supposed to. I can run the cooling fan if I wire it directly to the battery so the fan is good.
If I bypass the thermo switch the fan dosnt come on. There is battery voltage from the green wire to the thermo switch.
I think the problem may be with the Time Delay Relay Valve. It's a new unit and I understand in later models they got rid of it according to the Townsend Site but I think it is required for this model. anyone know if yellow/white wire from the thermo switch goes to#30 terminal on the relay.....the yellow goes to 87?.... The green and white goes to 15 on the relay....the Yellow goes to 87 on the relay......the green and white goes to 15. Anyone know if this is correct.?
