Thanks for that check list -- I can add a couple things I've seen problems with on verts
1) Side window front and rear window wipers. These simple "seals" are what keeps water from draining down the window into the door or the rear cavity that hold the window mechanism. I've seen those filled up with water as the drain was clogged. One time doing a walk around a vert after a heavy rainstorm, the car started peeing on the ground uncommanded. And, it didn't stop for about 4 minutes. That rear window mechanism bay must have been half full of water. BUT< that didn't come inside the car.
2) I would say your shift boot on the firewall is leaking. So, the question is, does the accumulation only occur during driving the car in wet weather or when it is parked or both? If you have forward movement in wet conditions, the water will come back to the shift rod boot and enter to the center console if you have forward motion, but I can't see how it could enter just sitting.
3) Going to the automatic car wash is a humbling experience in an older vert. I've found the big leaks and addressed those, and then put up with the smaller ones. Having had verts since 1967, I can say all verts leak. Even Cadillacs.
4) Don't give up. You will eventually find the leak, but I can tell you that you'll find three or more. Work on the worst ones first, and work through the rest.
