If you want something that is totally unlike anything else in the automotive universe. They look different, drive different, and are loaded with a unique kind of charm. They are amazingly simple mechanically and easy to work on. In terms of performance a four door auto will do 0-60 in around 7 seconds so it's faster. I can get 17/18 mpg in mixed urban driving and have gotten as high as 23 mpg on the highway. I used to get about 16/17 mpg with any of the six C900 automatics I owned and never got more than 20 mpg on the highway. And don't discount the handling. Years ago I was fooling around with some guy in a CJ7 and I went through a series of four really tight switch back corners as fast as I possibly could. When I looked up the guy was still right on my ass. I was really amazed. Newer Wranglers handle much better than CJ7s. I know it's a bit out there, but a C900 is hard to beat in terms of distinctiveness and Jeeps are one of the few modern cars that have the same amount of...personality for lack of a better word.
