There is no vacuum advance on a stock 900 turbo. That capsule is a retard capsule so when boost comes on, the timing retards. So, don't be trying to chase performance by making it work better...it's doing it's job as long as it works properly by retarding the timing while boost is present.
I have one of 5 distributors that Brad made that has a mechanical advance inside the 900 distributor that comes on at 4000 RPM. Kicks in about 10 degrees. That's how I got around the lack of advance under boost, but you can control it with an electronic device that is simpler and cheaper than the mechanical advance inside the distributor. Brad can supply those parts at George's Imports in Kansas City. I don't have one of those ( yet ) but perhaps one of these days.....
