Peter, where does one purchase plastic razor blades. Are the single edge as are some of the metal ones? Also as a follow on to the previous message I sent entitled SNAKES ALIVE; have you or as anyone you know ever attempted to buff out over spray or grainy enamel paint? Also I have a fellow saber trying to buy my 5 speed trans I have on pallet for about 7 years. It has been saran wrapped. It has 94,000 on it. I have the clutch disc pilot shaft in place. I also have a new clutch and pressure plate, the brake booster and hydraulic brake unit from a 89 standard shift the pedals, shifter proper shift console. Here's the question how much difficulty and money will it take to find the linkages from the shifter to the trans. What else will he need . The fluid lines and hose plus the clutch cyl from the clutch master, the flywheel and pilot bearing. The throw out bearing. I know this is information overload, but he has recently tried to purchase the 90 sedan which was a 5 speed which was listed with Scott. In the while I have repaired the door and fender, but have most of the stuff he needs for a 5 speed conversion (which I have tried to discourage due to the complexity of the overall project). Please respond with as much input as you can.
