Per the factory manual for 81-83 saab engines, check:
1. air leaks between mechanical air flow sensor and engine
2. control pressure on warm engine - low pressure means too rich a mixture
regulator with Bosch # ending in 084 control pressure 2.5-4.0 bar at 35C
regulator with # ending in 085 control pressure 2.0-2.5 bar at 40C
3. fine spray pattern from all 4 injectors and no leaks from cold start valve
4. also air leaks upstream of oxygen sensor (exhaust manifold or its gasket)
