That's all just anecdotal though - all coolants have finite lifespans and all only behave properly when correctly mixed. Not changing the coolant on time, diluting the fill with water, using tap water instead of distilled - all these things will compromise the performance of the fill. You can't draw any conclusions about anything unless you have that history. As for a blown HG at 111k, same thing - maybe it was overheated, maybe it wasn't maintained. You just don't know...
