I would also strongly agree with this. I spent way too long "combatting" high temps with lower temp thermostats but a good radiator is really the approach. The thermostat just sets the engine's temperature floor, in most practical senses the engine's operating temperature will be set by the performance of the radiator and controlled at the top by the fan. A lower temp thermostat will cause the engine to heat up relatively slowly, but its actual operating temperature will still be maintained by the size/efficiency of the radiator. If the car runs warm in motion and the thermostat is in good shape - regardless of rating - the issue is the radiator. Given how inexpensive radiators are, and how uncertain we generally are about the maintenance history of the cars, it's not a bad idea to just replace the radiator.
