I would wholeheartedly agree with Tom.
The "green stuff" of today is not the same as the green stuff of ten, twenty, or thirty years ago. It's far more advanced, and Prestone has spent big money developing it.
All the fancy colored coolants are designed to extend change intervals, protect aluminum, protect plastic, maybe save the environment, possibly some other stuff (like make money). You will notice very few of these remain in use for very long - every time one problem is solved another is unwittingly introduced and then a whole new product is needed to cure that problem.
Green stuff has been in your car for three decades and done just fine, I wouldn't mess with it. Mix it with distilled water (ONLY), change it every five years. There is, IMHO, zero incentive to do anything else.
(Also, note that 2017 "Mercedes Coolant" is not 2014 "Mercedes Coolant." the latter is G05, which Ford used before it switched to Dexcool and what Chrysler still uses. Mercedes now uses G48, which Saab used before it switched to Dexcool and what VW used before it switched to G30. You can kinda see that fancy coolants are one big - pardon my French - circle jerk.)
