WayneI'd love to do the T5. Justin's write up is superb. I have a '99' 9-3 with a GS stage 1 ECU. The engine on that car is a dream. The rest of the car no so much. In Calif a 91T with T5 would be very difficult to register and get current license tags. Because we don't rust there is no safety inspections. But we have to undergo an every 2 year emissions inspection that is very thorough. The car has to have all it's original emissions equipment in good condition. The tailpipe output is measured while running. Just had to supply a friend's 92T with one of my spare cats because his tailpipe output was high for hydrocarbons and oxides of nitrogen. Then there is also the pressure test on the vapor recovery system. My 91T will probably fail that and need the 3M aircraft glue repair job on the fuel tank for it's next emissions go around.
That's a lovely vert. It deserves good gears !!
