S. Carlson.. I am in Northern Virginia and have a 1987 transmission I picked up for a good price from a recycler with a warranty, etc. (expired now)... on a palet w/ papers, etc... car left road due to rust (120K on the car..it came from)
Before using in my next project thought it would be responsible to have someone go through it and at least do the bearings.... especially considering this had the smaller pinion.
Any suggestions on who would do this these days?... happy to support a private individual who does these on the side and I am in no rush on this.
