I would skip the 4-speed been there done that blew it up and 8, 000 miles after a fresh rebuild. I was never actually hard on the transmission it can just take only so many 3rd gear pulls with that kind of horsepower before it lets go. I never got on it in first and second. Scanwest still builds great Transmissions you may want to talk to Rob. He has built my 5-speed for my Saab 9000 build. He put in a LSD in it along with changing the gear ratio and all the goodies. if you do want to do the 4 Speed he's going to have to get Parts out of a 91 to 93 transmission. Just talked to him about this a couple of weeks ago. That transmission if you're wanting it done correctly is about 4500 bucks. He does have the gears cryofreezed. There is still no guarantee it'll hold 350 plus horsepower that was why I actually had him build me the transmission for my 9000. Right now I have the 92 transmission in my 900 and I've turned it down to about 275 horsepower we'll see how long that lasts. I'm still on the fence about sending Rob my four-speed and having him go through it but I sure would love to have my 4-speed with limited slip and cryofreeze the gears. I absolutely loved the gearing in the 4 Speed.
