Thanks Steven. Yep, it’s been a tough time lately with this car, but a great learning experience at the same time. All these issues are due to my own lack of knowledge and experience with these issues.
I’ve ordered a new pipe. I really don’t want to take any more risks. Is it good practice to also give the oil cooler and lines a good rinse?
I’m going to send the turbo back in to the rebuilders. They very kindly said that they’d take a look at what I’ve managed to do to their work of art. Hopefully it’s repairable. I’ll keep you posted!
