Leak fixed: There was fuel puddling on top of the pump, I replaced the o-ring twice as it had swollen. In the end it was just not tight enough....
I removed the fuel pump and ran the ring down and found several points where the ring would bind, I cleaned and lubed the threads and reinstalled the pump, o-ring, and ring. I hope that if I ever have to remove it again that I will be able to remove the ring! At least it isn't leaking now. I even installed the new Saab brand ring but it was still a difficult fit, I suspect that the tank threaded piece is not "round".....What a pia.
