I've seen PS fluid under the pass carpet a couple times. Never tried to trace the entrance pathway. Just thot it was rather odd. Ive seen two types of leaks at the reservoir. The 80's blond tank would leak where the black nipple assembly meshed with the body. I've never had a problem with the 90's black tanks. The more common leak was from the hose/nipple connection. The hose get hard over time and looses it's sealing ability. Cranking down on the clamp sometimes will buy you some time. Replacing the OE hoses was pretty typical for me. There is under carpet padding material available in bulk that I've used. Just cut tovfit.
