sounds like you are loosing fuel pressure when it sits for days.... faulty ?failing ? fuel return checkvalve (in the USA 1990 would have been the 1st year of the 1 pump fuelpumps... so that would mean check valve "elbow" which connects fuel line to the top of the pump asse3mbly)
