I just mentioned this in another post but I think it could be applicable to your situation. You might want to clean the inside of the throttle body where the butterfly valve is. It gets surprisingly gunky in there and definitely affects idle. Just remove the air intake hose from the throttle body and squirt some carb cleaner on a rag, open the butterfly manually with the throttle lever and clean it all up.
If there is a lot of buildup around the butterfly it could be starving the engine of air when the butterfly snaps back closed.
