I'm going to change my radiator and thermostat on my '90 900T after it overheated....after 35 years, it's time. In order to remove the radiator, I have to remove both radiator fans, but the screws are rusted in place and won't turn. I was able to drill just one out of the four screws that hold the fans in place; there isn't a lot of clearance. I can't use a propane torch since it will melt the plastic frames of the fans.

Assuming that I won't be able to drill out the fan screws attaching to the radiator, what aftermarket fans can I use? If I find something to use, I'll just break the plastic tabs holding the fans to the radiator so I could get the radiator out.

Do I need to change anything else if I use new fans - relays, cooling fan switch (I'll be replacing it anyway), etc.? I'll be installing a Nissens radiator and using the 82C thermostat.
