I think some things that are of mention include:
Make sure the car is pointing where you want it when you step on the gas, the turbo can come on quickly and surprise you.
Make sure both hands are on the wheel when if you punch the gas.
Don't punch the gas in the middle of corners.
You can drive the car smoothly and slowly and always shift below 3000 RPM with no adverse effect to the car.
Never "blip" the throttle prior to shutting off the engine; this stops the flow of oil in the midst of the turbine spinning at 18,000 RPM.
Be very religious about changing the oil in turbo cars since the high temperatures cause the oil to degrade faster than non-turbo motors.
Using the turbo will not harm the car.
