I bought my aero with 158K on the clock.
The AC needed a recharge, no biggie R134 is easy to get.
The motor mounts were toast (replaced them myself)

I drove it for a year and a half with no other maintenance (other than routine stuff)

To date (about 2.5 years) I've replaced:
full exhaust with 3" JT
upper and lower motor mounts (tranny mount still in the box)
Water pump
Front brakes and pads
Tires (bought a set of 4 (summers) and just replaced the fronts)
brake fluid, coolant fan switch, radiator fan switch
valve cover gasket

It all comes down to the maintenance before you bought it. Mine came with the paperwork for almost every oil change and all the dealer services were up to date except for the last one. Judging by the oil change receipts the previous owners (2) did lots of traveling for work (Michigan to Florida and such).

So far you've got a list of some pretty big ticket items, but you haven't mentioned the maintenance history. A great interior means nothing if you can't drive the car becuz it's broken.

If you're willing to spend the extra dough to get it up to par and willing to do work yourself when the need arises go for it. http://www.eeuroparts.com is the greatest IMHO and http://www.quasimotors.com has a perfect writeup for almost everything.
