I have a '93 w/ 62K on the clock (5 speed...that was a must for me).

No TCS problems in 18 months and ~18K miles. I'd agree with the lower post about there being two kinds of TCS cars. My Aero had no TCS problem history... and it's stayed that way. I am a DIY-er, and I'm not worried about having to get my hands dirty from time to time. I keep the car completely up to date on maintenance, and I keep it very clean (Even under the hood.) I think that well-taken care-of cars will be less likely to have trouble, because things weren't left too long if something went wrong. (My $0.02)
