I suggest you take the car to someone thats done this sort of thing before!
I installed 2 way component speakers in the rear as well as replacing my head unit. on my 87 9000T I had to buy an amp for the component spekers because the 55W max per channel Headunit couldnt power them this requries a lot of wiring and a lot of know how when it comes to installation and proper setup and sometimes as in my case a special tool for removing the stock headunit. if you plan on adding aftermarket spekers i recomend you find out exacly how your stock system works is wattage form the aux amp and the speakers you bought RMS and MAX wattage as well. form what you said it sounds like your car has an aux amp stock, that sounds really tricky If i where you i would either keep the original or go all out otherwise it will never sound like it was meant to work together like the stock system does.
Only advice not Gospel,
Good Luck - Aaron
